Home of the Mid-Island Whisky ClubThe Taketsuru 21 was awarded the “World’s Best Blended Malt Whisky” in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 at the World Whisky Awards. Masataka Taketsuru established the Nikka distillery in Northern Japan in 1934 and produces Nikka whisky out of 2 distilleries, therefore not a “single malt”.
